Prototype of such test rig can set up and tested by benchmarking with physical data. Kinematic assessments for different mechanism can be carried and the data’s extracted can be used for further analysis.

 Scope:  One of the main purposes of having suspension system is to provide comfort along with improve handling, braking & safety of the passengers. Study was carried out by setting a Test Rig to test the behaviour between Mono Vs Dual shock absorber systems for benchmarking and to study the behaviour of the swing arm under two different load cases. The Test Rig model is set up in Solidworks and uses ADAMS solver to calculate Kinematic loading, displacements, forces etc. The required force and displacement data’s are extracted for the given models and extracted data’s are used to carry out FEA analysis for the test components. The output data’s are used for benchmarking purpose for the Physical Test model and to compare datas.
